Though I have canals and bridges, I suffer neither craft nor tread.

Behind me exists an electric world of unfathomable complexity, the most complicated instrument in the universe.

I am a portal to the real, the map of beauty, and the most versatile pallet known to man.

Some people forget names, but they never forget me.

What am I?
